Diane L. Buck, ITF
Diane
holds both a M.Ed. and a BS degree in special education from the
Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Now in her 27th
year, she has taught a wide variety of challenging students ranging from
high school gifted to elementary learning support. For the last 21 years, she has
concentrated on doing what she loves best-working with high school
emotionally disturbed students at a center-based school.
Diane served many roles as a member of
the Junior Chamber, culminating her career as state Individual Development
Vice President and subsequently the 56th and first woman president of the
Pennsylvania Junior Chamber (Jaycees.) She was also elected National
Vice President of The
US Junior Chamber and served as charter chairperson of its Training Task
Force.
She has had the opportunity to
train in 32 states and has conducted training programs in Hong Kong,
Scotland and Korea. She earned the designation as the 23rd International
Training Fellow (ITF) of
Junior Chamber International.
Diane also believes in exercising her
leadership abilities by involving herself in her community. Diane is the
president-elect of the Greater
Johnstown Education Association and is the chairman of the Eastern
Institute, a political group of The US Junior Chamber.
