PARAMETER LEADING
Allowing your people to complete their jobs your way.

Most leaders would like their people to be both more creative and take more initiative at work. However, because of today’s workplace pressures to produce, leaders are often reluctant to give too much freedom to their people. PARAMETER LEADING provides leaders with a framework to encourage and allow their workers to utilize their own skills, expertise, experience and resources to achieve goals and accomplish workplace tasks. Attendees will learn how to ensure output is both acceptable and desirable while at the same time providing their people autonomy in fulfilling their responsibilities. The result is workers who are more involved and committed in completing their jobs.

PRAISE MAILS FATE—An acronym for Leadership Success.

All leaders are charged with getting the greatest effort from each of their people every day. Yet, all leaders have two universal challenges: they can’t make or force their people to do their jobs and they can’t make or force their people to care about doing their jobs. Realistically, leaders have no genuine power to exert that will absolutely ensure their people will perform correctly or even perform at all. Therefore, to create worker commitment, leaders must learn and utilize actions that will influence the behavior of their people to complete their daily tasks. In PRAISE MAILS FATE, we discuss and I provide 15 actions leaders can do, take or provide to influence their people to do what they are supposed to do at work.

YOUR SUCCESS IS MY SUCCESS—Leadership basics.

Leaders don’t get promoted because they have ‘great paperwork.’ Skilled leaders know their performance will be judged by the performance of the people who report to them. It stands to reason, then, that a leader’s most important role is to do whatever is necessary to help his or her people be successful. YOUR SUCCESS IS MY SUCCESS examines in depth these most basic responsibilities of a leader. I explain and discuss how leaders who spend more time interacting with their subordinates and ensuring their subordinates have what they need to complete their jobs correctly are more likely to be successful leaders. The presentation provides tools and guidelines for leaders to utilize.
